International Commerce Day is observed worldwide on the first Monday of August every year. In Tagore College of Arts and Science, the International Commerce Day has been celebrated today (05.08.2024) with enthusiasm. The students of Third year B.Com. & BBA were actively participated in the events conducted from 1st August to 5th August 2024.

The programme was initiated and motivated by the Principal of Tagore College of Arts and Science. The students and staff of PG (M.Com.) Department of Commerce organized and conducted the events. The following events were conducted for the students of Commerce:

The main purpose of celebrating the international day of commerce is to create awareness about Commerce stream and spread the message that commerce subjects are interesting to study. The students were inspired and participated actively in all the above events and scored more points. The Head of the various departments were given the responsibility of being a judge to evaluate the performance of the students. To encourage the students, certificates were issued to the winners of the events.

The Principal Dr. (Mrs.) R. SANTHI appreciated the winners of the events and insisted to achieve more in the future. The programme came to an end by the proposed vote of thanks delivered by the students. Special thanks were given to the judges of the above events for their involvement and guidance to make this programme a grand success.
